Online Learning beginning Friday, January 7, 2022

BJES Parents:

Please read the letter from Interim Superintendent regarding online learning beginning Friday, January 7, 2022.

We expect to return to on-campus learning on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Mask Mandate

Face masks required in school facilities and school buses.

2021 - 2022 Student Dress Code

Students should come to school prepared to learn. Any aspect of a student’s appearance or attire that is
likely to distract or disrupt the learning environment, including but not limited to images or messages
that are lewd, vulgar, sexually suggestive, containing profanity, or promoting violation of school rules
(such as promoting drug or alcohol use) or anything that draws the attention to the individual student
are prohibited. CCISD dress code does not follow current fashion trends that could draw excessive
individual attention to a student. The campus principal will have the final say in matters dealing with
student dress code.

Virtual and On-campus Attendance Policy

Regular school attendance is essential. Absences from class may result in serious disruption of a student’s education. The student and parent should avoid unnecessary absences.
Two important state laws—one dealing with compulsory attendance and the other with how attendance affects the award of a student’s final grade or course credit—are discussed below.
