RE: Athletic/Band Tickets or other Approved UIL Activities
Attention Javelina Fans:
In an abundance of caution and with guidance from the Zavala County Emergency Management Team, I have developed health safety protocols for UIL events and/or activities to help minimize the possible risk of Covid- I 9 infections.
One of the protective measures that the CCISD will adhere to include limiting crowds during school sponsored events. Physical distancing will help stop or slow down the spread of a contagious disease. For individuals, this means maintaining enough distance (between 3 or 6 feet) between yourself and another person to avoid getting infected or infecting someone else.
For this reason, I will be allowing only two tickets for any UIL or school-sponsored event in which students participate this includes, but is not limited to athletics, band, cheerleading, and dance.
In the interim, both home and visiting teams will have to provide team rosters of active participants in both Athletics and Band, including Cheerleading, and Dance teams. Once team rosters are submitted, a code will be generated for each participant. Respective coaches and/or sponsors will issue this unique code to each individual participant. This code will allow each participant, of either team, to purchase two tickets only. Please note that ticket holders must be the registered parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the participant.
Spectators will not be allowed at any UIL event and/or activity until further notice. This decision was thoroughly discussed and considered due to the increasing number of positive Covid-19 cases in our community.
We feel this is the best course of action for the time being to continue to allow our students to participate in their respective UIL sport. This situation is continuously changing and we will meet regularly to discuss possible changes and recommendations.

RE: Entradas atleticas/de banda u otras actividades aprobadas de UIL
Atenci6n Javelina Fans:
En una gran cantidad de precauci6n y con la orientaci6n del Equipo de Manejo de Emergencias del Condado de Zavala, he desarrollado protocolos de seguridad de salud para eventos y / o actividades de UIL para ayudar a minimizar el posible riesgo de infecciones de COVID-19.
Una de las medidas de protecci6n a las que se adherira el CCISD incluye limitar las multitudes durante los eventos patrocinados por la escuela. El distanciamiento fisico ayudara a detener o ralentizar la propagaci6n de una enfermedad contagiosa. Para las personas, esto significa mantener suficiente distancia (entre 3 o 6 pies) entre usted y otra persona para evitar infectarse o infectar a otra persona.
Par esta raz6n, permitire solo dos boletos para cualquier evento patrocinado par la UIL o la escuela en el que participen las estudiantes; esto incluye, pero nose limita a atletismo, banda, porristas y baile.

Nose permitiran espectadores en ning(m evento y/o actividad del UIL hasta nuevo aviso. Esta decision fue discutida y considerada a fondo debido al creciente numero de casos positivos de COVID- I 9 en nuesfra comunidad.
Creemos que este es el mejor curso de acci6n par el momento para continuar permitiendo que nuestros estudiantes participen en sus respectivos deportes UIL. Esta situaci6n cambia continuamente y nos reuniremos regularmente para discutir posibles cambios y recomendaciones.
