Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
High School Music Service will be sponsoring our virtual instrument drive on November 11th.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, instruments will need to be ordered online. The band directors
will be available that Wednesday starting at 4:30 PM to assist with placing orders. We ask that
you bring a credit/debit card to place the first payment on your student’s instrument.
We will be following the same guidelines that are used for the Mighty Javelina Band rehearsals.
This means everyone will be required to wear a mask upon arrival at the band hall. Should a line
form, we will space each group 6 feet apart while we take temperatures. You will be provided
hand sanitizer upon entering the band hall. Once a seat is found, we ask that you stay in that seat
and wait to be called upon. We will do our best to sanitize equipment between parties.
We ask that you bring any instruments you plan to use so that a director can inspect it and
evaluate the instrument's condition.
