Dear Benito Juarez Middle School Families

Serving as Benito Juarez Middle School's principal is an honor and privilege. I have had a lifelong passion for working with children and feel very grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role. I have twenty-five years of experience working in the education field. I've taught 1st - 8th grade in all content areas and as a PK-12th grade school counselor, assistant principal, and principal. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (BSIS) degree from Texas State University, magna cum laude, and a Master of Education (MEd) from Lamar University.

I am the proud mother of a daughter who graduated from Crystal City High School and the University of Texas at Austin. As a parent and an educator, I know every child is unique, and I take great pride in being part of every Benito Juarez student's educational journey!
